Default Name One of RuneScript's best features allows you to set a default name to use for triggers. This "defname" will be used to replace the name in any trigger, if you do not supply a name. For instance, if you have your default name set, you can view your overall level by simply typing !overall rather than having to type !overall JimJeoBob.

In order to set your defname, you use the !defname command:
!defname <rsname>
!setname <rsname>
To clear your defname, type !defname without any parameters:
!defname
!setname

In order to use your defname, simply leave the part where you would normally put a name in blank, as so:

You can also use it to look another person's stats up, as long as they have a defname set.
Usage:
!stats <IRCname>&
!stats <IRCname>$

Example:

Note:Your default name is set for your address and Ident. So, if you change your nickname it will still work, but you'll have to reset it if you change your Ident, or if your host name or user ID changes
To edit the settings of this command via !set, use: !set defname on/off/private
